The thing that drives my employees and I is that no matter what we are working on, whether its a refinish, a new floor, or even a flight of stairs, when we walk away from a job we know we have improved the quality of life of a family or the image of a business with a floor that they will be proud to show there friends or customers.

You will never hear us say, "it's just business". I believe the way to make a company grow is all about personal relationships, this is true for my employees and of course our customers. Our company is made up of a tight knit group that works very well together, and we get work with our reputation rather than gimmicks. Over 80% of our business is word of mouth, so happy customers are very important to us.

"Company roots"

I was born in Alaska and have been in construction my entire life, in 1989 right after highschool I moved to California and learned the trade from a group with over 75 years of experience doing only hardwood floors. After five years I decided Alaska was home and continued doing floors here until April 2000 when my wife and I started Northwest. Since then we have grown at a steady pace, trying to avoid complications by being very particular about who works for us, we have been very proud of our employees and hope to continue growing steady.
